We are currently experiencing a "Warm up" as it were, at 26 degrees today. But while it has been too cold to enjoy the snow, it is very pretty to look at! I wonder when I'll be able to get into my yard?

What a Winter!
This winter of 2013/2014 has been a "Doozie"! We have had more snow than we can deal with, consistently followed by bitter cold "Polar Vortex-s". According to our local Meteorologist, the tens this year have averaged at about 8 degrees! Yes 8! The kids have even missed 4 days of school due to dangerously cold wind chills that were close to 40 below zero!
